Pretty damn good day today. Psychology seemed to fly by and the new teacher was in the class...she is hot...like really attractive. Walked the sunny path to enfield town in search of some new clothes, saw some people I knew on the way which made the journey that much more eventful. I also saw someone famous too, the guy from eastenders (Lucas Johnson). That gave me a nice conversation topic to talk to the woman serving me about. then went down to madhouse and saw Gurjeevan, he's working there now. Finished by going to the gym and working out quite hard.

Just feel like ye olde blogethspot is being left out in the cold so i thought i'd update with the news and olds of my week. Growing increasingly tired after the last few weeks and not much has been happening but i came into fortune today and was paid some sweet ass pound sterling. It's my birthday soon and i'm not sure what to do. Feed me through some suggestions and i'll see whats down.

Dear DJ Hero,

Where do you get off? At first of hearing this concept many thoughts swam around my mind. The first was disgust because it just seemed like it was dumbing down the decks for people who found it too hard to DJ and wanted more gamerscore. I also got annoyed with them fat cats trying to get people to shed out even more hard earned money for an extra plastic controller that only works on that game. I was soon overcome by curiosity and decided to check out the video myself and it actually looked not bad, maybe even fun. What I did notice that it inspired me to instead of wait for the game actually go and DJ for real on some real decks. Who knows I might even relight my underground DJing career as .....DJ Corey.

Been quite a relaxing weekend to be honest. Discovered a new band (Rotary Connection) and i've been listening to them quite a lot, their so peaceful and dramatic. If you can find their version of of 'Sunshine of your love' it's definitely worth a listen at least, I know its on Spotify. Also been listening to some Cream which has been delightful. I just feel so mellow :)

Content meerkat says a lot has been happening over the last 48 hours... a little thing called E3. Showcasing some of the latest and innovative games set to come out. Among the highlights were Microsoft's version of EyeToy Shown Here in all its hilarious buggy/glory.

Sony version of the Wii also looked quite entertaining. but they both looked like the type of thing that would cost the price of a war struck african province (the same as guitar hero world tour) and get delayed for half a century and still manage to be realised with a hamper full of bugs/glitches and other electronic disappointments.

Rockband Beatles looked surprisingly good and the more I think about it the more I want to play it.

Spent all day being ganster at Seth's. Seth has never completed GTA: San Andreas so we thought we'd kick it old school and play through it. Our plans were slightly held back by my villainous PS2 which decided to painstakingly not load the game for anything up to 30 minutes out of the 3 times it was needed. Besides the senile PS2 me and Seth were just keeping it real down in Los Santos and rediscovering how crude the lyrics from 90s rap songs are. OH and it turns out Buju Banton has a song on San Andreas...yeah all these years and never realised. 'Buju Banton - Batty Rider', it's a mighty fine song

Been trapped in doors all day. Not really trapped just not given the opportunity to leave. When such an occasion happens it seems to be tradition of me to gather anything in my peripheral vision and toy with it. So today I picked a horrible selection of clothes and clashed them all (blue t-shirt, black shorts, grey woolly socks) and to top it off i found a yellow fireman's hat just laying around so I thought I'd sport that for a while.

Oh man I just went on a 'Monkey Dust' marathon. Wasted the last several hours in a flash. I'm overwhelmed by the amount of comic genius i had to take in, but also feel quite sadened by the undertones of depression carried with it all. Excellent show, all the episodes are on youtube so just click away and enjoy the animation of 'Monkey Dust'.

Not been blogging lately.  Partly due to all the non-stop partying i've been doing ( I like to party) and mostly possibly entirely due to the new game I bought. UFC Undisputed 2009. I have been a fan of UFC for a while and before that i was a fan of K-1 grand prix but i never really expected a good game out of it. I just liked watching these people brutally beat each other with very few rules but the game actually turned out quite good. It's fairly addictive but on the most part all round fun. Being your favourite mixed martial arts fighter beating up your other favourite mixed martial arts fighter, it just makes sense. The career mode is quite long and it encourages you to do it many times. I done the natural thing and made Jherard, and it was going really well untill I finished making him, confirmed it (no turning back at this point) and then realised it looked nothing like him. So im stuck with a generic looking asian person called Jherard, but he does throw a mean punch.

I woke up this morning...

Was late off the waking up mark so I grabbed some near by clothing from my wardrobe and set off on an adventure to the bank with my mum. After a very long meeting with the lady of the bank my Visa electron (very fancy) card was ordered. In 7 -10 days it will be in my possession and i will be able to fill my life with meaningless objects via the intertube such as a game for a console that came out 9 years ago, or a t-shirt with an animal on it. Anything really will be just a several clicks away. I also purchased a new computer video game for the xbox 360 entertainment system, and had a nice mini lunch(some chips and an orange juice) in the George with my mum and her friend.

Life is Beautiful

Life is indeed beautiful and so is this film. It's an incredibly heart warming film that rightfully deserves all 3 of the Oscars it won. I woke up this morning unsatisfied with a disruptive nights sleep and decided that i would watch this masterpiece that i have put off for so long. I'm so glad i did watch it. The film has such an old feel to it that it doesn't even feel like it was made in 1997 more like 1960s. All the main characters are so likeable making it such an entertaining watch. The character Guido is one of those amazing characters that can only exist in films due to his unbelievable charm and optimism, however it is dramatic. It's such a contrast of having an horrific event such as the holocaust with a heart warming story.

I'll be happy to lend it to anyone who wants to watch it

Happenings

A day that consists of much a happening took place today. Alot happened on a small scale, only expecting to spend the day rolling around my room in a zorb of apathy a young man of zimbabwean descent graced my presents. Thats when things kicked off, fresh out of the horrible heat of my house exacerbated by my symptoms of illness we bebopped down to Tom's discothèque(his house) and collectively wasted time doing nothing and listening to homophobic reggae. Better than nothing. Doesnt sound like much written down but it seemed like alot had happened whislt it was happening.

Wow, that was really good. So many amazing shots used especially during the party scenes. The use of the car light and fog made it seem surreal and then the flashing lights topped it off. The soundtrack was excellent with music only used when absoloutely needed. To be honest i don't think i have ever heard so much diegetic sound used in a film. Excellent performance from Robert Carlyle and his not over-used in the film which makes the moments his on screen even better. The film had such a naturalistic feel to it, some parts sounded so genuine (the fight scene at the party) that i couldnt even imagine how they scripted that.

In other news i spent the whole day doing nothing. Just sitting around eagerly awaiting for something interesting to arise as i wondered the depths of the internet. I did get 3 new followers today, thats the biggest increase on this blog since records began (records began yesterday). oh and 'Ideal' was good. Its become so abstract now the old simple life of Moz a drug dealer with crazy aquentences is a mere spec in time compared to the new series. Still a great show.

Right i have fulfilled my mission statement of 'For the craic' now i dont have to be funny anymore. Dont worry i will just dont expect it all the time. Nothing like a bad joke to kick off something new, the picture isnt even of W.S. Gilbert, its Ivan Pavlov. Oh no i'm tearing at the seams already and i'm only half way through my first post.

I don't really have much to say except i have recently(last 24 hours) discovered Elvis Costello that was a good find. If i find anything interesting to say i'll post, maybe even with an entertaining picture...maybe.
